Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Northlight Studio for the iOS app Lumen. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. The license does not include selling, renting, reverse engineering, or modifying the app beyond what applicable law allows.

Your content

Notes, photos, and comments you create in the app belong to you. We claim no rights in that content beyond what is required to run the app on your device.

Acceptable use

You will not use the app unlawfully, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to interfere with the app. The app is a recording tool provided as it is. It is not professional advice about photography, law, or safety.

Intellectual property

The interface, name, marks, and copy of the app — other than content you create — belong to Northlight Studio or the respective rights holders. You may not use them to imply an official relationship or to confuse the source.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. The app depends on your device and system. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. If you materially breach these terms, we may stop providing updates or support. When the license ends, you must stop using the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should first be discussed between us. If that fails, they are submitted to the court with jurisdiction where we are located.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page, and the date changes with it. If you keep using the app after the update takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
